Added December 29th, 2004:
In July 2004 our family was preparing to leave for a week of vacation when we discovered the air conditioning stopped working. We hurriedly called three major cooling companies which provide heavy advertising in Charlotte. Two were unable to provide immediate service and the other sent a service man out who asked us how we knew our unit was out of freon? The outside pipe had ice on it. He said we needed a new unit and quickly handed us a book to choose which unit we wanted to have installed. We were not in favor of making a rash decision since we were leaving for vacation. We told him we would have to get back after we returned.

We called kentheatingandcooling and they were willing to stop by while we were on vacation and check the outside unit and clean it. We were advised to keep the fan on while we were away. When we returned we learned that we did not need a new unit after all! The coils just needed to be cleaned. Our air was back to normal and kentheatingandcooling provided us with prompt, courteous service and saved us thousands of dollars.

Added December 10th, 2004:
The morning of December 15 was the coldest morning of the year thus far. That's not the time to wake and find there's no heat in your home. Guess what? My heat wasn't working. I gave Kent Heating and Cooling an early call that morning expecting to wait most of the day. Scott Kent promptly contacted me, arrived at my home, diagnosed the problem and had it repaired within an hour. That was such a relief for me! Thanks, Scott for the prompt and professional service!
